The Yard and Handy Man Guys are a small business located in North Carolina. They offer a wide range of services ranging from landscaping and fencing to house painting, and remodeling. They came across our illustrative work online, and reached out about our services. Their initial goal was a new banner and profile image for their social media channels. That evolved into the creation of a huge 10 foot banner for a small town parade. We knew that with such a small business personalization was of paramount importance. We asked them to supply a simple photograph of each of them which they could simply take with a smartphone.

Then we went to work using their likeness as the bed of the artwork, and pulled in other elements that would showcase some of the tools of the trade. We came up with 10 different images and composited them all together to create the artwork you see here. We then re-created the image in a variety of dimensions to fit all of their needs.
